Who runs it
For Your Consideration is an awards-season fantasy league for groups of friends, run by Kevin Celustka. It has no ads and nothing on it is for sale.
Questions, or to have your data deleted: hello@fycleague.com.
What it keeps
Your email address, the name you play under, and a slate name if you set one.
What you do in your leagues: your bids, your fade, your calls, your race picks and the films you tick as seen. Your fade and your calls stay hidden from everyone, the site admin included, until your league's reveal.
If you link Letterboxd: your username, and your diary entries for films on your league's board, at the level you chose (seen, ratings or reviews).
If you turn on push: a token for each phone or browser you turned it on for, so a notification can reach it, and a log of what was sent to you.
Sign-in attempts and the network address they came from, kept for a day to stop abuse.
Usage data
Which screens you open and when, tied to your account, so Kevin can see what's working. It never includes your email address, anything you type, or a pick before your league can see it.
Turn it off on your profile with Share usage data.
No third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, and no open or click tracking in emails.
Who else handles it
Supabase keeps the database and runs sign-in. Vercel runs the website. Resend sends the email.
Sentry receives the error when a page breaks: the page, the error and your browser's name; nothing you typed.
Apple, Google and your browser's maker deliver push notifications to the devices you turned them on for.
Letterboxd: if you link it, FYC reads your public diary feed once a day. Nothing goes back to Letterboxd.
Film details come from TMDB and OMDb, which never see anything about you. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long
Usage data is kept through the end of the following season, then deleted.
Your results stay part of your league's season, so the standings still add up for everyone else.
Deleting your account deletes your usage data and your push devices with it.
Your choices
On your profile: change what notifies you and how, remove a device, unlink Letterboxd, or turn off usage sharing.
To delete your account and your data, email hello@fycleague.com from the address you sign in with.
